I am not a big makeup wearer, I prefer a fuss-free natural look. I saw the LipSense range advertised online and was interested in trying it, particularly if it lived up to the "long lasting" hype- I hate when your makeup slides off half way through the night! I met my local SeneGence distributor Jacqui, and with her help I purchased my first 'safe' colors - Praline Rose and a Moisturising Gloss. Love!! I went back shortly thereafter for Pink Champaign. Then Caramel Apple. Then Bella… For a non-lipstick wearer, I am now the proud owner of 9 lip colours plus glossy, pearl and glitter lip gloss, LOL. I had considered getting eyebrow tattooing to fix a flaw in my brow, but due to my fear of getting an inexperienced tattooist (not to mention the cost), I have been hesitant. Jacqui convinced me to give the Liquid Brow Color in Taupe a try. Amazing- no finesse required, it definitely lasts a full day, and it is a much more affordable alternative to tattooing. My brows are now awesome!! I figure if I’m making an effort with my lips and brows then the canvas should probably look good too, so I bought the Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer for daytime. It is light weight and really DOES disguise my freckles and even out my skin tone. I also got the Advanced Anti-Aging Foundation for special occasions, and the mattifying Translucid Loose Powder dispensing brush. I love how simple it is to apply too- I don’t have to be a makeup artist to achieve an even finish. Maybe one day I’ll upgrade to using a brush for my foundation like Jacqui does, but at the moment I am quite happy with my inelegant four-fingered application. I‘ve been so impressed with the makeup line that when I was due to replace my skincare I jumped into SeneDerm - Jacqui is a wonderful walking endorsement as her skin looks so luminous in her tutorial videos. I’m in my 40’s so my skin needs more than just a “feel good” product but again, if it’s too complicated or fussy I won’t use it. My daily routine is simply the Anti-Wrinkle Treatment for my fine lines, the Climate Control as my daytime moisturiser, the EyeCreme under my eyes morning and night, and I use the Evening Moisturizer for an additional moisture boost overnight. I have been getting a lot of compliments on how good my skin looks- my lines have softened, my breakouts have disappeared and my skin seriously seems to glow. And once my current cleanser has run out I will definitely be switching across to the 3-in-1 Cleanser too. If you are considering trying one of these products- do it.
